Â So if we say 70-80% fat, 15-20% protein and 5% or less total carbs that is what we mean. Â So for weight loss if you are shooting for 1200 calories with 80% fat, 15% protein and 5% carbs, this is the equation.
fat% = (fat grams)*9/(total calories)
protrein% = (protein grams)*4/(total calories)
carb% = (carb grams)*4/(total calories)
So with any ingredient or recipe you can just plug in those numbers and get your percentages.
