Depends on what your goals are.  MCT oil is 100% medium chain triglycerides (MCT).  Coconut oil is about 60% MCT and has other beneficial qualities (antimicrobial and other beneficial properties).  MCT are the easiest for your body to burn and turn into ketones.  So MCT oil is great for an energy boost (prior to workout, etc).
